Testimonials About Pastor Lannom
I have known Mr. Lannom for the past 10 years in my capacity
as president of a Christian publishing ministry, The Trinity Foundation.
In 1999, The Foundation sponsored a conference on Christianity
and Economics, at which Mr. Lannom was one of the featured speakers.
I, in turn, have spoken at the church Mr. Lannom pastors in Ft.
Lauderdale, Logos Chapel. Mr. Lannom has been in my house, and
I in his. We are friends and brothers in Christ.
During all this time, Mr. Lannom has deported himself as a Christian
gentleman, a disciple of Christ desirous of proclaiming the Gospel
of Jesus Christ and defending that Gospel against all who would
obscure or deny it.
Mr. Lannom's theology is no novelty, but historic Christian orthodoxy,
as expressed in the 17th Century Westminster Confession of Faith.
That Confession is the culmination of Reformation theology. Mr.
Lannom believes that the Bible alone is the Word of God, and all
who believe and teach that the Word of God can be found elsewhere
-- either in tradition or in new "revelations" -- are
denying the clear teaching of Scripture.
I have been the President of The Trinity Foundation since its
inception in 1977. I am the author of hundreds of essays and many
books; I hold my advanced degrees from The Johns Hopkins University;
and I have spoken at several colleges and seminaries, including
Harvard University, the University of Texas, and the University
of Colorado. Sincerely,
John W. Robbins, A. B., M. A., Ph. D.
